(AR10) Head of Infrastructure

Lancashire | £65,000.00 - 85,000.00 Per Annum (car plus bens)

The Group Infrastructure & Technology Manager will be accountable for leading and managing the delivery of the groups infrastructure services and for defining, in collaboration with the business, best practice frameworks, guidelines and policies that determine our standard ways of working, which facilitate integration and safeguard our estate.

As the Group Infrastructure & Technology Manager you will define the group’s digital strategy along with the short and long-term roadmap for the effective delivery of services in line with the group’s current and future capacity requirements.

As the Group Infrastructure and Technology Manager you will ensure the objectives and strategies for the technical and infrastructure services are delivered and aligned with the group’s objectives.

As part of this role you will examine the IT landscape for new and innovative technology, collaborate with the business as to if or how this technology can be leveraged as an enabler within the group to add value and improve service delivery.

As a leader in this role you will have a responsibility to lead in driving a culture of delivery, innovation, continuous improvement, shared responsibility and individual accountability. Ensuring the primary focus of day-to-day service delivery is the provision of an excellent Customer experience.

To Be successful in this role you must have:

Demonstrable experience and a proven track record of implementing and embedding a digital cloud first strategy, of defining and detailing a short and long-term infrastructure and technology strategic roadmap and migration to the cloud.

Strong knowledge of and a natural curiosity for infrastructure, technology and Cloud based technology.

Successful track record of managing integrated technical infrastructure services, including data centers.

Leadership and strong management skills, including project management, financial management and change management.

Strong planning, governance and delivery skills with the ability to set team goals, objectives and priorities, establishing clear roles and responsibilities for all direct reports.

Tangible experience of documenting best practice infrastructure development and implementation frameworks, policies and standards.

Hands-on experience of project management, detailed planning and implementation of integrated infrastructure and technology projects.

Excellent 3rd party supplier negotiation and management skills.
