AI Software Engineer required for an established global SaaS business exploring cutting-edge AI solutions for its platforms, offering Hybrid Working, paying up to £62K + Bonus + Benefits.

This is a hybrid setup, with occasional office time; circa once a week initially for planning and collaboration, reducing as you settle and start delivering.

As an AI Software Engineer joining a new, designated AI team, you’ll focus on designing and researching future AI system offerings, working towards building scalable, real-world systems that enhance existing platforms.

As AI Software Engineer you'll be empowered to build on current foundations and work (commercially or researched in your own time) across some of the following:

• LLMs
• Agentic AI systems
• Multi-agent architectures
• RAG systems / Retrieval-Augmented Systems

You’ll join a team of AI Software Engineers collaborating to deliver intelligent features that directly impact customers and business performance.

This is a hands-on and visible role, covering all areas of work from designing backend architecture through to user-facing applications, with a strong emphasis on clean, scalable, and well-tested code.

You’ll also play a key role in evaluating AI performance, building monitoring pipelines, truth sets, and ensuring high-quality outputs across deployed systems.

As a new area and team they are very happy with a variety of backgrounds, tooling and technologies:

• Python / TypeScript, with an existing team coming from .Net and PHP backgrounds
• API-first architecture and scalable backend systems
• MLOps: CI/CD, monitoring, model versioning
• LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen
