Hybrid Role - East Kilbride

Desktop support engineer needed for a global leading FMCG to deliver excellent user & customer support as part of this team. They are looking for someone who has good desktop experience and will be able to support on technology such as AD and exchange. You will also get the opportunity to work with Intune, Citrix and SCCM but you do not need experience of these for the role when applying.

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting operating System, Hardware & Application issues on desktop device's
  • Resolving Incidents, Problems and Service Requests taking appropriate actions to ensure a satisfactory response in line with our SLT’s
  • Resolving technical issues, updating Status/Workaround/Resolution within our Service Desk system
  • Communicating with users about the status of incidents and problems.
  • Deploying new Desktop/Laptops utilising SCCM procedure / deploying mobile devices, T&A devices and printers
  • Desktop configuration and environment management including patching, software upgrades, antivirus, and malware protection
  • Managing shared drives, user access and permissions
  • Working with supplier support contacts to resolve complex technical issues
  • Serve as technical escalation contact for the Service Desk for all related technical incidents or problem
