Project Planner - Interim 6 month day rate - Manchester - SOW available - Day Rate 500 to 550 (PMO Lead )

Our client has a critical business and technology transformation programme to deliver a compliant and improved retail solution to set-up the business for success to deliver the future growth.

Experience with technology based programmes or projects essential for this role. This is a greenfield piece of work so you will need to be able to set up new processes from scratch. This work could suit a Project Planner, a PMO Lead or potentially a Project Manager who has focused on the pure planning & reporting of the programme.

The client requires a Project Planner (PMO Lead or PM) who will be responsible for creating, maintaining and analysing programme plans; identify, monitor and manage risks/issues and dependencies while actively engaging with owners and other stakeholders to ensure programme success.

There are clear milestones as part of the SOW In place for this programme, which is estimated to last 18 months.

You will need to:

·         Create, review, analyse, assure, and maintain programme plan with a detailed breakdown structure

·         Agree deliverables and key milestones with all stakeholders

·         Coordinate with stakeholders to identify schedule-related concerns and ensure that programme timeline is realistic and attainable

·         Look for ways to prevent extending the timeline in the event of change, delays or shortening the critical path

·         Evaluate and analyse risks and issues compromising programme results and develop plans to mitigate them

·         Identify and maintain dependencies across programme environment

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date data for different stages withing programme by working closely with various stakeholders

·         Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of the programme to develop and implement procedures, processes and systems

·         Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from key stakeholders and monitor usage against these plans

·         Provide regular reports to management on progress against the plan, risks and issues.

·         Proactively identify and progress opportunities to add value to strategic and tactical decision making


You will need to have used MS Project and any experience of KeyedIn would be a bonus for this work.
