Infrastructure Engineer - 1 day a week onsite.

This North west based organisation is looking for an infrastructure engineer who has excellent experience of deploying and supporting Microsoft technologies.

As the Infrastructure Engineer your primary responsibilities will be to administer and maintain the infrastructure systems in our data centres and in the cloud.  This role requires a broad experience of Microsoft technologies and specific experience of Windows and VMWare services to monitor critical systems, resolve incidents and problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and implementing new infrastructure solutions.


As an Infrastructure Engineer required to work on existing projects within this clients current Infrastructure team. This role would be working at a 3rd line level and would suit someone who has 2nd/3rd line experience or good 3rd line knowledge and wanted to progress that on an enterprise estate.  

As the Wintel Engineer you will need to have excellent experience of deploying and supporting Microsoft technologies. You will be working with 0365, Azure, AD, VmWare and Citrix.

For this role, you are required to be able to show as much of the following experience as possible:

·        Azure AD

·        O365

·        VMware

·        Engaging and working across multiple teams with multiple technologies

·        Working on multiple projects

Qualifications or Experience of any of the following would be ideal but are not essential:

·        VMWare VCP6-DCV

·        O365 – hybrid mode (exchange, SharePoint & Skype )

·        Active Directory 2016, ADFS and AD connect with Azure based replication

·        Citrix

·        VPN
