Data Modeller required for an Enterprise B2B business, based in Central Manchester, paying up to £60K + Strong Benefits Package

Offering hybrid working of circa 3 Days in the Office and 2 Remotely. (Possible further flex once in role)

This role is a mix of hands on Data Modelling - including producing dashboards and reports - as well as working with stakeholders in a Business Analyst capacity, to define and suggest new and improved ways to capitalise on business data and insights.

There are some Data Engineering responsibilities, however please do note that this is not going to be a Data Engineering role. In truth, if you are looking for Data Engineering, you will likely get frustrated in this role.

Experience will be along the following lines:

• Strong Database and Data experience, ideally across Oracle, SQL Server and Informatica
• Experience in building Dashboards and Reports; this could be Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau or other tooling
• Experience or a willingness to produce proof of concept Data Lakes and/or Data warehousing would be great
• Some experience in technologies such as Python, Azure Synapse, data analytics and R
• A confident communicator across different levels of stakeholders - both technical and non-technical
• Defining requirements from the business and translating to solutions
• Data modelling and analysis
• Spotting opportunities for the business from large datasets
• Any experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, C# would be nice, but also not expected.

You will be the go-to contact in the Manchester office for all-things-data, dashboards and reporting, as well as working with International teams.

We are looking for someone who's confident with large data sets - this business has over 6000 workflows and circa 300 reports, therefore this is an opportunity for a substantial impact for the team.

You will be joining a data team of currently 4 members looking to add more capacity as well as data driven insights for the business.
