Helpdesk Support role - 1st & 2nd line role - 30k plus bens.


This role would suit someone who has extensive 1st line / helpdesk support experience or someone who has already done some desktop support work.

In this role you will work on both helpdesk and Desktop support needed for a leading manufacturing company to deliver excellent user & customer support as part of this team.

The Service Desk Engineer will ensure the recording of reported IT service issues and service requests and working to either restore service as quickly as possible at either 1st or 2nd line level or then escalate to the 3rd line team. The role requires experience in technical troubleshooting, first point contact with end-users and customer service.

Core technology skills are focussed around Microsoft & windows based experience, AD and you will also gain the opportunity to develop your Dynamics 365 support skills.

In this role the key experience will include:
  • Excellent customer service, stakeholder management and third-party management skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to learn new technology and applications.
  • Excellent understanding of Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016, O365, M365,
  • Installation and configuration of business software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printing problems.
  • Find solutions to problems and have a hands-on approach to support activities.
